At Nassau Community College (New York), we also use ACCUPLACER as a post-test for students completing developmental math courses.

Our math faculty felt that ACCUPLACER would be the best instrument/assessment to use, as we want to see if students have the skills to go on to college level math courses.
Since we used ACCUPLACER to measure this originally, it makes sense to use it as a post-test.

Additionally, we also use ACCUPLACER as a post-test for all students who have completed "college readiness - brush-up classes" that run before the semester begins.
Students can sign up to take a 12 hour brush-up course through our Continuing education course - which is taught by an instructor on our campus - or students can sign up to take an on-line college readiness program called A+dvancer - where they complete the work from their home. Regardless of which intervention they choose, they will be asked to post-test with ACCUPLACER.
