This is a smart question. My 34% is an unduplicated headcount over the year. Kathy Kathryn Van Wagoner Director, Math Advantage Programs Utah Valley State College 801-863-8411 ad-van-tage n. For instance, the 10,000+ number given by Jim, is that 10,000+ unique, unduplicated students each semester from a total enrollment of ~30,000? If they use more than one service or if they use a service more than once, are they still only counted once for the purpose of this statistic? If so, when does the count start over -- each semester? We have looked at this number for five or six years, now, and the number continues to rise. Does anyone track data on what percent of your campus population uses your services each year? A colleague at another campus contacted me and wondered whether the 27% of students who used their services was a good, bad or average number. Anyone out there care to comment? I know that here we see about 12% of the undergraduate population each year.we also have data that show that by graduation, 25% of our students have used the services of our Counseling Center (of which LAS is a part). I'd love to hear what other people are finding. Thanks!
