The Northern Wheatear was present and conveniently easy to see at 9:00 a.m. this morning. Four or five other birders were on the scene at the Bill Robertson Jr. Center building. The bird fed in the field to the back left of the building, perched in the Brazillian Pepper trees that border the far edge, perched on the wire above the trees, and flew cooperatively for all present to see the distinctive white rump field markings.
