The SI Program at ULS is in a phase of rapid anticipated growth. The expansion plan calls for substantial growth over the next five years. As the administrator with primary supervisory responsibility over this program, the SI Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling and supervising student SI Leaders, for initiating and maintaining communication with faculty, and for program evaluation and data reports. Master's degree in a discipline supported by ULS or in a field related to education required. Three or more years' experience in learning assistance, counseling or related field also required. Experience gained while pursuing degree(s) is acceptable. Knowledge of theories, models, and practices of college learning and study skills, especially collaborative learning, is essential. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Experience with Supplemental Instruction or similar types of college level academic assistance programs strongly preferred.
