We call our writing tutors "writing specialists" and also use learning assistants for our other tutors. We have RAP leaders too--which stands for "review with a peer." We like these labels very much and our "tutors" do too, especially the ones who are planning ahead for resumes and grad school applications. With the stigma attached to the word "tutoring," we are trying to come up with something different to call them. Any ideas?
