Come join from us from 6 to 8pm this Wednesday at Virtually Cuban at the
next GatorLUG meeting. The food is great and the beer is cold (and
inexpensive - $1 domestics, $2 imports). Meetings are free and open to
the public.

6:00 - 6:30 Announcements

OSCON 2007 | Linux stuff in town

6:30 - 7:20 Presentation | Introduction to Openfiler | Matt Collins

Openfiler is a Storage Management Operating System. It is powered by the
Linux 2.6 kernel and Open Source applications such as Apache, Samba,
LVM2, ext3, Linux NFS and iSCSI Enterprise Target. Openfiler combines
these ubiquitous technologies into a small, easy to manage solution
fronted by a powerful web-based management interface. Openfiler allows
you to build a Network Attached Storage (NAS) and/or Storage Area
Network (SAN) appliance, using industry-standard hardware, in less than
10 minutes of installation time.

When he is not using Openfiler as an iSCSI target, Matt Collins finds
time to write code for the Biocoder Project at the Florida Natural
History Museum.

7:20 - 8:00 GPG Keysigning | John Li, GatorLUG Keymaster

Please send your public key information to John Li
[[log in to unmask]]. The key bits to send are your name, email
address, and your key fingerprint.
