Hi Chuck,

    The accuracy of time/date stamp of the image is dependant on the 
accuracy of the computer's clock, not on the camera. So, the computer's 
clock has to by synchronized to a feed that gives a standardized time 
signal. As for active members that have cameras, I have one, I believe 
Howard has one, Scott has two, and I believe Bob O'Connell has Remi's old 
electronic eyepiece. There might be other cameras in the Club, but I'm not 
sure about them. The electronic eyepiece attached to either a VCR or a DVR 
might be a good solution. That way, you can image at 16 fps and time the 
occultation to 1/16 second. I just double checked and the time/date stamp 
reported by images taken with CCDSoft are reported to 1/1000 second. So, I 
guess that's accurate enough to time an occultation. ;{)
