Resources for Academic Achievement (REACH) is the centralized academic
support unit at the University of Louisville.  We are recruiting for a
professional staff position to assist us with REACH programs/services
evaluation and assessment. We would appreciate your sharing this

 Requirements:  
Master's degree with course work in Research Methodology and one year
of experience in a research related field. Additional experience may be
used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements.
Salary commensurate with experience. Grade ED.  

 Position Description:  
 Collaborates with the executive director to develop the research
design for the assessment and evaluation of all REACH services/programs
including recommending appropriate computing requirements for necessary
research and developing and modifying computer programs as needed. 
Prepares the Annual REACH Report on Tutoring Services and the Annual
REACH Report on Retention Programs by collecting, organizing and
analyzing all data required from REACH services/programs and from
Peoplesoft student records.   Maintains a REACH comprehensive data base
and other data bases for annual reports, requested reports, research
reports and for longitudinal study.  Supervises the data collection
provided by REACH tracking software (Accutrack or other) for all REACH
areas and collaborates with REACH professional staff to provide training
for all REACH graduate assistant(s) who assist with data maintenance and
collection and who may create reports. Serves as the REACH liaison to
the Registrars Office, UofL Office of Institutional Research, and the
UGA Office of Retention Management and Research.  Conducts surveys,
focus groups, and or other additional procedures to determine the
effectiveness of REACH programs and services or trains others to conduct
these procedures
