Are there any good general guidlines for the issuing of printed
materials (say, course or lecture notes) to students with visual
impairments? I'm thinking about the kind of thing that a lecturer might
make a few copies of to distribute on an ad-hoc basis, rather than
expertly and expensively-produced brochures.

What about materials in Braille for blind students? Is there any easy
way to get Braille versions of documents produced from a typical user's
desktop computer?
