***** To join INSNA, visit http://www.insna.org ***** Dear colleagues, I am currently working on a piece of research looking at the effectiveness of civil society advocacy and campaign networks in southern Africa (Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa and Zambia). The objective of the research it to assess the effectiveness of these civil society structures in achieving change in government policies and practices that impact on the lives of poor and vulnerable people. In order to do this the research will look at network structure, and advocacy and campaigning methodology.
