Hi, Lynette.

My guess is you've probably already read it, but Mike Rose's "Lives on the
Boundary" is among the best nonfiction texts about professional and personal
development in the field of education.

Subject: Storylines about Professional Life

Good morning,

Please recommend titles featuring a storyline about the professional life
of an educator in the field of reading, learning assistance, DE, ABE, or
ESL. Both fiction and nonfiction are welcome as well as ethnographies and
other academic pieces.

  Appreciatively,
  Lynette Rapcan, M.S.Ed.
