Went birding with a friend on a property in Washington County today (NNW of Panama City). In addition to the usual sightings, was interested to see the Golden-crowned Kinglets were almost as thick as the Ruby-crowneds; we also found a flock of at least 15 Dark-eyed Juncos feeding at the grassy edge of a sandhill lake. Yellow-throated Warblers were singing their hearts out-- another gorgeous day of Panhandle birding!
