I visited St. Marks this morning from 10:15 to 12:45 and was pleased
with the showing. Concentrations were in Stoney Bayou 2 and East
River Pool as well as a concentrated group in the Lighthouse Pool,
mostly terns including a pair of Sandwich, Royal, Forster's and Black
Skimmers. Between a group in East River Pool and the Picnic Pond, I
saw at least 60 American White Pelicans. A Spotted Sandpiper was in
with some Least Sandpipers and a Glossy Ibis at the T-levee. Best
bird was a lone Pectoral Sandpiper in East River Pool.
