PG&E Receives Approval for Cow Power

A brief article on a power company in California, PG&E, using 
biogas in its natural gas pipeline.

"SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pacific Gas and 
Electric Company announced today that the California Public 
Utilities Commission has approved its gas purchase agreement with 
Microgy, Inc. ("Microgy"), a subsidiary of Environmental Power 
Corporation , to deliver up to 8,000 Mcf of pipeline quality 
renewable natural gas daily. The methane gas, captured from cow 
manure, will be generated by Microgy facilities in California."
