Assistant Director
Learning Co-op & TRIO/SSS (Student Support Service)
Learning and Information Technology

Oversee administration of Learning Cooperative (subject-area tutoring, 
learning skills, writing center, and supplemental instruction) and TRIO/SSS 
Program (a federal program for first-generation college students from 
limited income families), ensuring effective office functioning, delivery of 
services to students, and supervision of professional and non-exempt staff. 
Manage development and evaluation of Learning Cooperative and TRIO/SSS, 
including program budgets and writing of grant proposals.  Master's Degree 
with three years experience in a college or university student learning 
setting required, or an equivalent combination, to include familiarity with 
TRIO programs and the unique needs of TRIO students, knowledge of how 
students learn, and demonstrated success at proposal writing.  Must have 
demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice, and multiculturalism 
and demonstrated ability to work well with people; to communicate 
effectively both orally and in writing; to develop, manage, and evaluate 
complex programs, including budgeting and using technology effectively.
