Hey Everybirdy,

A short 2 hour ride through the refuge this morning. Along SR 406 just
before the Blackpoint entrance, the winter Peregrine is now perching regularly
on the dead snags.
By-passed Blackpoint today but yesterday, there was plenty of action
between stops 2 and 4. Scope is recommended as most of it is towards the back.

I entered Biolab Rd via the beach entrance rd. Lots of Killdeer and both
Yellowlegs along the straightaway. A lone American Avocet and a Stilt
Sandpiper were seen as well. PLenty of Common Yellowthroats and a Sedge Wren.
Palm and Yellow-rumped Warblers are in force as expected.

Several Black-bellied Plovers perched on the pilings on the lagoon and
some scattered Sanderling, Dunlin and Least Sandpipers feeding on the floating
stuff.

See you out there!
