I should add that we use current students as a last resort.  We can usually
fill the request from the pool of tutors, suggest the student get help from
the professor, and/or facilitate the formation of a study group.

Hi Kat,

I shy away from doing that.  I wait until the tutor-to-be has successfully
completed the course. And this has to do with many things, most important of
which are accountability and "quality control."
