The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF) program is one
of the most prestigious awards available for graduate studies and students from
an incredibly broad range of science/engineering/science-related fields are
eligible. The award funds full tuition and a generous stipend at virtually any
institution in the world for any three years of a five year period at
significantly more than $120,000 overall package. This workshop is designed for
all undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty mentors. It will give
information on the award and application process.
Why now? Why not in the fall just before the application
is due? Perhaps most importantly this workshop will provide tips on how to set
yourself up with what you do this summer so that you have the best chances of
success.
This workshop will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2008
from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in 117 Little Hall on the UF campus.
