with climate scientist, Stephen Schneider

leaders, for a discussion of global warming solutions. Free Food.

Tomorrow-January 31st

11am-2pm: Climate Change and Alternative Fuel Awareness Fair. Come check
out alternative fuel vehicles, learn about your carbon footprint, and
see how you can make a difference for climate change. (Reitz Union North
Lawn)

 

3-4pm: Panel Discussion on the Science of Climate Change. Dr. Steven
Mulkey and Dr. Paul Sotkiewicz discuss the facts and economic
implications of climate change. (Ustler Hall Women's Atrium)

 

4-6pm: Political Forum - The Leadership of Climate Change. Gainesville
Mayor Hanrahan will discuss the challenges and opportunities for local
management, adaptation and mitigation for climate change. The winners of
the Alachua County Schools Climate Competition will also be recognized.
(Ustler Hall Women's Atrium)

 

6-8pm: Energy Debate- UF Faculty face off to discuss the pros and cons
of energy sources. (Ustler Hall Women's Atrium)
