Just a quick note that the Great Cormorant and the Purple Sandpiper were both on the North Jetty at Ponce Inlet, Volusia County, today (1/22) at lunch time. The Purple Sandpiper was out near the very end of the north jetty. The Great Cormorant was still on the tower at the end of the North Jetty. The Glaucous Gull was not present (It sounds from Dave's post, like it may have headed over to the landfill, if it is same bird.)

In addition, yesterday, 1/21, I found a female White-winged Scoter in the Halifax River just at the beginning of Tomoka State Park, Ormond Beach, Volusia County.
