We have done workshops for SSS as part of a study skills course. We
talk about metacognitive learning strategies, time management, learning
styles, and test preparation. Our website is www.cas.lsu.edu.

Hoping this helps,

Subject: Workshops for TRiO SSS

Happy Wednesday!

Do any of you provide workshops (or other academic skills training) for
your campus's Student Support Services program (TRiO)?

If so, are the workshops part of a Summer Bridge program, an SSS
Orientation, a Study Skills Course, or a Workshop Series?

What topics are offered?

Are SSS students expected to attend all the workshops, attend a minimum
#, or are they entirely optional?

Any information or websites would be greatly appreciated!
