I just paid the membership fees before I came to St. Louis for the ATP
conference. Do I subtract $25 from the total price of the registration
for these workshops?

The cost for taking all six components of the six-pack workshop is $240
for ATP members and $300 for non-members. Each component may be taken
separately at a cost of $50 for members and $75 for non-members.
However, one may become a member and enroll for the workshops at the
same time. So, for example, a non-member may register for three
workshops and pay a total of $175 ($25 for membership and $50 for each
of the workshops) or $265 for the entire six-pack ($25 for membership
and the membership price of $240 for the six-pack). Send all checks to
Jim Valkenburg, c/o Delta College, 1961 Delta Road, University Center,
MI 48710.

You may register for the workshop on-line at
http://www.jsu.edu/depart/edprof/atp/ . Arrangements for payment can be
made to ensure that all registrants may participate in the workshop.
Instructions for the use of the teaching/learning platform will also be
sent to each participant. If you have any questions, please contact Jim
Valkenburg at [log in to unmask] .

*This tutor training is not intended to take the place of training
provided by colleges or organizations that already provide certification
training for tutors. However, ATP online training workshops may
contribute to a tutor's development and enhance such training if guided
by the organization's tutor coordinator. For this reason, ATP encourages
tutor coordinators to take ATP online training sessions along with their
tutors-in-training.
