I read the post by Antoinette in which she said "Many institutions are 
employing learning specialist or academic coaches in higher education to 
support student learning general education through individualized meetings, 
on-line and even in the course a few times during a semester. "  I know that 
this is a useful solution to help students but I am curious as to the source 
for this statement. I am sure that many of us would like to have the
references for this statement.   Collegially............
