NC deosn't have a specific name for placement testing. NC CCs use one of three different tests to determine where students place into classes. I hope this helps a bit.

Subject: NC policy question

Hi
I was wondering if someone from NC could email me offlist and tell me if NC
has state-mandated placement testing and guidelines for developmental
education and if this initiative has a name (e.g. in TX it is called the
Texas Success Initiative) and/or specific NC-based tests. Thank you.
