Lawrence: by the list below you'd think all we did was stats. We currently
track the following monthly:

Storage Services:
# of boxes or other mediums (file cabinets) currently in storage
# of new boxes accessioned in our storage centre
# of boxes destroyed
# of boxes archived
# of retrievals
# of refiles
# formal training sessions
# staff trained - formal sessions
# informal training
# staff trained - informal (adhoc training or 1 to 1)

Advisory/Consultation Services by month and dept:
# for classification
# for EDMS assistance
# of requests for filing assistance
# of record centre instructions
# for retention issues/advice
# box checks prior to transfer
# of staff mtgs
# of mtgs with others (non-project)

Specific Projects (like our EDMS review) by Dept, I track the total time
for:
background work
planning meetings
update meetings
delivery of presentations

We also do stats for our EDMS Corporately, by Dept and Division. total
documents, monthly activity trends (any access - revise, create, read etc),
# of users, daily users activity 1-3 documents, 4-10 documents, 11-23,
24+.. We graph these and report to the Dept/Dvision quarterly.

On our shared drives quarterly stats after our project completes: total
space used, format types (e.g. access) by Division/Dept and Program if
folder levels go that deep.
