IMPROVEMENT GRANTS
Workshop on how to apply for NSF Doctoral Dissertation
Improvement Grants (DDIG) from $6,000 to $20,000 (for which the first deadline
is January 15, 2010).
The workshop will take place January 6, 2010, 4 p.m. to 5
p.m., in Room L107 of the Marston Science Library on the UF campus.
The target audience is graduate students in social, behavioral
and economic sciences.
Presenters include Bess de Farber (Grants Manager, UF
Libraries), Zoe Ziliak (Doctoral Candidate, Department of Linguistics), Christopher
McCarty, Ph.D. (Associate Professor, College of Public Health and Health Professions
Bureau of Economic Business Research) and Connie J. Mulligan, PhD (Associate
Professor, Department of Anthropology Associate Director; UF Genetics Institute;
NSF DDIG past reviewer).
The workshop is free and open to the public. No
registration required.
