When one of the alumni of our program sends emails the following graphic and
words are below her signature. It's a no cost way of raising consciousness
about the environment, but is also a practical way to reduce.

Betty,

 

Recycling is important, but that is only half the battle. The other half 

is reducing the amount of materials used. I am sure your campus is already 

explring ways to reduce the amount of paper used, but I encourage your 

committee to take a very hard look at some of the paperwork routinely 

generated on campus and see how much of it can be eliminated or replaced 

with digital documents.
