CRLA is a group of professionals active in the fields of reading,
learning assistance, tutorial services, and developmental education, at
the college/adult level. Inherently diverse in membership, CRLA's most
vital function and overall purpose is to provide a forum for the
interchange of ideas, methods, and information to improve student
learning and to facilitate the professional growth of its members. The
Mid-Atlantic Region Conference offers a time- and cost-effective
opportunity for learning assistance professionals and paraprofessionals
to accomplish this. Proposals about all topics of interest to personnel
in learning assistance and developmental education are encouraged.

This year's theme is in anticipation of the national CRLA conference in
October. It will be an excellent opportunity to practice a potential
concurrent session; to help with the planning and preparation for the
national event; to offer your tutors an affordable professional
development opportunity; and/or to spend a day and half re-energizing
yourself and enjoying fellowship with your CRLA friends.

Please share this notice with your colleagues. Student proposals are
also encouraged.
