Some good news for NE Florida birders. The long overdue Ft. Clinch pier restoration project is complete and the facility is once again open and accessible to the public. Past visitors know that this is a prime venue to sight Purple sandpipers, multiple larid species, rare waterfowl and occasional jaegers. The adjoining Birding Center has produced sightings of White-crowned sparrows this winter.
