You would be glad to hear that the Southwest Recreational Center, 
on UF campus, is doing their part in reducing their carbon 
footprint. They installed ten new Adaptive Motion Trainers and 
Elliptical machines which convert kinetic energy generated by the 
person exercising into electricity. These cardio machines are 
connected to the grid and supply power to the building's air 
conditioning system.

UF is the first University to implement such technology. If you
