The School of Social Science, Urban Affairs, and Public Policy at
Northeastern University (**) seeks a director of its
Initiative on social science research methods and quantitative techniques,
which seeks to assure that students are equipped with appropriate research
skills and faculty have access to resources to enhance their research. The
director is also expected to work with faculty in areas of applied policy

The position is at the rank of full professor with tenure in an appropriate
social science department. Salary and benefits are competitive. We require:

        Ph.D. in a social science field
        Exceptional teaching in social science research methodology and
applied quantitative techniques
        A record of accomplishment in applied policy research
        A record of working smoothly with a team of social scientists
