The UF Office of Sustainability is proud to announce the Sustainable
Solutions Awards Program (

ards-2009.html). These awards, announced this April at our Earth Day
Celebration, will recognize those individuals, departments and
organizations that have made significant contributions toward advancing
sustainability at UF. Individuals or departments can be nominated to
receive awards in the areas of water, waste, and energy
conservation/reduction. Submissions can also be made for the "Bright
Idea" award, which will be given for the best new idea for advancing
sustainability on UF's campus. The most active Green Team and the most
active student group awards are also up for grabs.

If you know someone who deserves recognition for being green and
promoting sustainability on campus, put his/her name in the hat. You can
even nominate yourself, your organization, or your department.

Nominations end April 1st.
