APRIL 17th Guy Harvey is visiting UF !

Guy will speak to interested students and faculty about ocean conservation -- 2 PM on April 17th in the UF Auditorium (near Plaza of the Americas, at the belltower).

Noted marine wildlife artist Guy Harvey will appear at University Auditorium on the University of Florida campus Friday, April 17 from 2- 3:30 p.m. to discuss marine conservation issues, including endangered shark populations and the importance of protecting ocean resources.
Harvey will also discuss the mission of the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, formed in 2008 to fund scientific research and innovative educational programs that encourage conservation and best management practices for sustainable marine environments. He will be available for questions and autographs at the end of the discussion.
Harvey's artwork is featured on a limited edition T-shirt commemorating UF's 2008 national football title. A percentage of the revenue generated from sales of the shirt is donated to marine research and education through the foundation.
On Saturday, April 18 from 9:30--11:30 a.m., Harvey will appear at the Florida Book Store (1614 W. University Avenue) to sign an assortment of Guy Harvey products including the championship T-shirt and prints commemorating the national title win over Oklahoma.
Both events are free and open to the public.
