We also use the visits to distribute bookmarks with our hours and website on them, and put up a poster in the room so they can be reminded later in the semester when they need help.

Subject: Recommendations for Student's Conference Proposal

Hi All,

I wanted to see if you have any feedback for one of our workers here in the Student Learning Assistance Center (SLAC) at Texas State who is interested in submitting a conference proposal. She wants to talk about ways in which tutors or SIs can effectively establish relationships with instructors and their students though class visitations. Do any of your learning centers or institutions encourage such visitations, and, if so, what are some ways you have found to facilitate and foster such interactions?

Thanks in advance for your time and replies.

Best,

Rene' LeBlanc
