Hey Y'all,

Had the pleasure of birding Shell Key with Pam Leisure (Pinellas Co. Parks) and several guests from 10-noon, today. Of note were 40-50 Red Knots--many in alternate plumage. Had two late Red-breasted Mergansers and a lone Piping Plover. Discovered an American Oystercatcher nest with three eggs. Lots of Royal Terns courting. A pair of imm. Northern Gannets rode the incoming storm front.

Regards,
Lee Snyder
