Hey Y'all,

Birded Ft Desoto with the fine folks from Alachua Audubon on Saturday.

Of note: Northern Gannets, Western Kingbird.

Very crowded birding with many species, individuals and birders. Have never seen so many birders on the island.

Watched as a Louisiana Waterthrush picked insects from a muddy depression in the road bordered by grass. All within a few feet. Totally without concern, it remained to entertain several other groups of people.

To all from Alachua Audubon: Thanks for a great day!

Regards,Lee Snyder
