We start our tutors at $9.50/hr and require them to take a 1-unit tutor
training class their first semester of work. They receive a $0.50 raise
their second semester.

Subject: Tutor Pay

Hi all,

We pay our undergraduate peer tutors $8.25 per hour. This seems rather
low, given that NY State minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. What do you
all pay your tutors?

Thanks,

John Cleveland
