RE:       NOVEMBER 3: DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR US STATE DEPARTMENT SUMMER 2011 STUDENT INTERNSHIPS


The United States Department of State is accepting applications through Wednesday, November 3, 2010 for full-time, paid and unpaid internships for Summer 2011. These internships, an excellent preparation for future careers in civil service and foreign service, run 10 weeks over the summer (May through July). Applicants must be US citizens and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. The State Department is seeking students from a broad range of majors, such as biological sciences, business, economics, engineering, information management, journalism, physical sciences, public administration and social work, as well as majors more traditionally identified with international affairs.
