REMINDER: CALL FOR PAPERS AAMAS 2010 Satellite Workshop: The Fifth International Workshop on Emergent Intelligence on Networked Agents (WEIN 2010) May 10-11, 2010, Toronto, Canada Submission Deadline: February 2, 2010 WEIN 2010 shall bridge the gap between research in complex networks and multi-agent systems (MAS). The complex networks approach provides a framework to model MAS, i.e. agents are represented by nodes and their interactions by links. The underlying network structure of an MAS plays a crucial role in explaining the emergence of systemic properties (such as intelligence). Networked agents, on the other hand, may be able to actively change this structure by forming new links or cutting existing ones. In addition to these topics, the workshop also focuses on network-based collective phenomena and emergent problem solving by networked agents.
