Subject: DEAM Call to Conference

Dear Colleague and DEAM Member,

We are pleased to announce our Spring 2010 Call to Conference. This
year's conference "Transitions: The Evolution of Developmental
Education" will take place on May 19 and 20 in Baltimore at the historic
Tremont Plaza Hotel. We are delighted to have two guests, including
incoming President-Elect of the National Association of Developmental
Education (NADE) Jane Neuburger along with keynote speaker Lucy Tribble

We ask that you look into submitting a proposal for this year's
conference or maybe nominating a colleague for an award. If you know of
any great students in developmental education that have excelled and
gone above and beyond, be sure to pass along the information regarding
our scholarship. On the other hand, you or another colleague can apply
for a chance to receive our Alex Afonta Memorial Scholarship Award to
attend the Kellogg Institute this year. All materials regarding call for
proposals and nomination/application materials are enclosed within the
call to conference.

Early Bird Registration will be open until March 15th so take advantage
of the great rate and book your room by April 21st to guarantee the
discounted conference rate for this amazing hotel. Please feel free to
direct any questions at [log in to unmask] - we look forward to having
you join us in Baltimore for a great conference!

Hara E. Oyedeji

President, DEAM
