The National Center for Developmental Education (NCDE) would like to invite
all NADE attendees to presentations by NCDE staff at the conference in Columbus:

Patrick Saxon will present "Top Actions Administrators Can Take to Improve
Developmental Education."  The content comes from a study of exemplary
developmental education programs at two year colleges, the research
literature, and the opinion of the NCDE staff. This session is Thursday,
March 11, 2010, from 2:30-3:30 pm in Hayes Room C-23.

Denise de Ribert will present an information session for those interested in
the Kellogg Institute on Thursday, March 11, 2010, from 2:30–3:30 p.m., in
the Marion Room. The presentation is entitled “The Kellogg Experience:
Connecting Practitioners and Research.” Kellogg alumni are welcome to
contribute their input during the question and answer period. 

Evelyn Asher will present “Marketing Developmental Education Across Campus.”
 Held in conversational format the presentation will be in Franklin B, D2,
on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. She welcomes you to share
your experiences marketing developmental education on your campus.

Dr. Hunter Boylan will co-present at the workshop "Making the Case for
Developmental Education: The Advocacy Project." Learn how you can
participate in The Advocacy Project, designed to help NADE members become
advocates for developmental education on their campuses, in their
communities and with policy‐makers.Discussion will include key messages
about developmental education, how to get DE in the news, and techniques for
communicating with legislators. This session is scheduled for Friday March
12, 1:30 - 2:30 pm in  Union E.
