Hey y'all,

While doing survey work on Weedon Island (n.e. St. Petersburg) today, found 6 Black-necked Stilts paired and defending territory. Also 6 Greater and 4 Lesser Yellowlegs but most impressive were over 300 Purple Martins mixed with Tree Swallows and a lone Barn Swallow. Ducks still in the area with Blue-winged Teal and Northern Shoveler most common. A lone Green-winged Teal and 5 Redheads were a surprise.
