***** To join INSNA, visit http://www.insna.org ***** Hi,
Maybe somebody had the same problem so I thought I'd ask:
I am having problems calculating/viewing the measures over time. Somehow the plot of ORA is really not showing what it supposed to according to the manual.
I have created 5 AGENT-AGENT Metanetworks each containing a set of 599 nodes. I already made sure that each set contains the same nodes. They differ in Link Count since new links have been established over time. The sets I am using to import are #d/#h files created in ucinet. When I plot each network it seems to have been imported fine.
When I select those 5 Metanetworks and click view measures over time and then select for example Closeness Centrality I get five Network level sets that show the measures, but each with a different symbol. According to the manual those should be connected with a line. Do I have to Union them first? If I only have one Metanetwork containing all five sets, ORA complains about: "View measures over time requires at least two meta networks". I have tried the 184.108.40.206 version of ORA and the new one 2.0.4, but both are giving me similar results. I am aware that the actual online manual refers to older versions of ORA. I've also tried the 1.8.1 Version of ORA, and it does what it should, according to manual. I am wondering why the newer versions behave differently?
It would be great if somehow I would able solve this problem because it drives me nuts :)
