Caroline has used SNA to look at in-class interactions in online contexts:

Caroline suggested work by Maartin de Laat (http://www.open.ou.nl/rslmlt/) who is using network visualizations as feedback mechanism for teachers and school administrators.

Caroline pointed out that the recent 'Networked Learning' conference in Denmark also included some use of social network analysis (although the 'networked' of the title is not SNA networks).
