BEST,
This article is about Farm Power, a company located in Washington state that is building an anaerobic digester at a dairy that could power up to 500 homes. By implementing an anaerobic digester at the dairy they utilize a source of renewable energy in the cow manure as well as manage methane emissions from the waste which is a large greenhouse gas contributor. The 750 kW facility is a good example of the potential of "wastes" to be used as a sustainable source of energy in the future and reduce our society's dependence on nonrenewable fossil fuels.
