Hello:

At Southern NH University, we run a 1-week residential summer bridge program called JumpStart for incoming freshmen (a limit of 50) which involves workshops on academic preparedness and study/organizational skills, activities to help students acclimate to the campus and meet key offices/people, teambuilding, and lots and lots of FUN! We are in our 4th year this year. The program runs the week prior to the traditional orientation/move in weekend. Our retention and academic success rates for the program have been outstanding. Contact me off list if you would like more information.

Subject: How many involved in Summer Experiences!

Hello:

I am the Director of Academic Enrichment Services at Ithaca College. I
would like to know how many of you are involved in a Prefreshman Summer
Experience for incoming students? Can you tell me if you are and
describe your program very briefly?

Thank you,
