This a.m. I found a male Yellow-breasted Chat in the Powder Puff tree at
the entrance to the now defunk Southern Tree Farm on Laredo Street in
east Naples.

The blossoms on this tree attract insects which attract many birds.
Buntings, warblers, vireos, oriole, hummingbirds including Black-chinned
have been seen here in past weeks. On Sunday, a Peregrine Falcon was at
the end of Laredo Street chasing a flock of Ibis while being chased by a
female Northern Harrier.

This area will again be covered tomorrow in the Ten Thousand Islands
CBC. Hopefully, other good species will be seen as well.

Good Birding.
