As part of a broader, university-wide awakening to environmental and sustainability concerns, the University of Florida Graduate Fellows in Sustainability Prairie Project focuses on curricular change to support graduate student professional development to address these urgent, yet long term, societal issues. The Prairie Project for Graduate Fellows will draw together approximately 20 UF graduate students from diverse fields across the university to learn about environmental issues and sustainability in a one day workshop on May 5, 2011.

Interested graduate students should submit their applications to the Office of Sustainability <http://www.sustainable.ufl.edu/> by February 25, 2011 using the application form provided on the Sustainability Committee Web site: http://www.sustainability.ufl.edu/what-can-you-do/students.html.

Questions regarding the project may be directed to Dr. Victoria Pagán ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>).

Sincerely,
Ashley
