Two postdoctoral positions are available with dual appointments at Northeastern and Harvard Universities.  The focus of the research will be on a wide range data sets, with a primary emphasis on network data, and secondary on unstructured text, including:  small group collaboration, micro level interaction (e.g., as measured by physical proximity and verbal exchange), experimental data on interaction patterns and group performance, political contribution data, bodies of political text, and large scale, society-spanning communication data.

Postdocs will be expected to participate in the larger community of network scholars in the Boston area, including involvement in seminars, workshops, and the like.  A wide variety of disciplinary backgrounds will be considered, but facility with handling and analysis of large data sets and an interest in working across disciplines a must.  Compensation will be competitive.
