No thorns Lisa, but looks like it's the Chickasaw Plum.  Two leaf id characteristics are that the leaf margins are reflexed upward from the midrib and the leaf margins on my sample have tiny red glands on them.  The Hog Plum does not have the glands.  Needed a magnifier to see this.....
